St. Finian's N.S. competes regularly and successfully on a broad sporting frame. Teams represent the school in Gaelic Football, Basketball, Athletics and Soccer. Hurling has recently been introduced thanks to a G.A.A. sponsored professional coach.

Links and support for St. Finian's G.A.A. club, Peamount United Soccer Club and Commercials Hurling Club all encourage team participation. 2004 was our "Grand Slam" year when our teams won the Dublin School Gaelic Football Championship, the West Dublin Basketball League, the U.13 Schools Relay and the 4 Districts Camogie Title.
